ORIGIN AND PURPOSE
Born from a dream and out of many requests from “musicians-to-be” for financial assistance and central to her need to help, Rosa Pryor established The Rosa Pryor Music Scholarship Fund in September 1991.
This tax-exempt organization provides financial aid to students from ages 5-17, and others who are already enrolled in some of the finest music education programs in the country.
The Fund provides scholarships of varying amounts to qualified applicants.
THE ADVISORY BOARD AND THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The Advisory Board and Board of Directors consist of a cross-section of individuals who volunteer their time and expertise. Some are from local and the national entertainment communities; others are merely music lovers from the heart.
All believe in the cause, to help the disadvantaged children that desire and have a gift for music. Rosa Pryor is Founder and CEO of the organization.
The organization has a 501(c)(3) status. All contributions to the Rosa Pryor Music Scholarship Fund, Inc. are tax deductible.
